Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will come again and recommend your place to family and friends. We had such a wonderful time sharing your home with our family during our travels. I kissed the baby cheeks of my new granddaughter one last time before they boarded a plane back to New Zealand today. We will all be together in September for my son’s wedding…it can’t come soon enough. Thank you again for the hospitality and for such a wonderful place for us to stay and enjoy the mountains.
Hi Barbara- I just had to drop you a note to tell you how beautiful Little Pines is!! Thank you so much for maintaining such a beautiful property. We will be enjoying our stay- no doubt!!
"The Hideaway was exactly as we expected from the listing description. The property was clean and well maintained. Exquisite decorator touches made the cabin cozy and a delight to stay for the week. Barbara and Stuart personally handled minor snafus quickly and professionally. We would recommend this property to everyone who is able to negotiate the 3 small steps leading to the bedroom loft. The cabin sleeps four, but realistically two would be more comfortable.
We enjoyed off-road driving adventures, but if biking and hiking [and skiing in the winter] are more to your liking you will be happy campers! Bridget suggested we check out Inspiration Point at night. She was spot on as the stars and valley lights are spectacular. Mostly we recharged our batteries just kicking back reading and enjoying the huge pine trees in the backyard.
We enjoyed eating at the Grizzly and Evergreen cafes and took in a Dodger win at the Raccoon Saloon, but the best food was gourmet cooking on the induction range and al fresco dining on the deck. Sheer nirvana! The Hideaway will not disappoint." - Labor Day 2013, T.H.
"Celebrated my 56th birthday along with my nephews 13th birthday with a multi-family weekend get-away. We rented both units and everyone had the most amazing time...from my 2 & 3 year old grandkids to my mother who is 86, there was never a dull moment of things to do and fun to be had!!
The units were very well maintained and so completely stocked, that you literally only need to bring food, clothing and personal hygiene products. The owners went over and beyond by providing everything else you could need or want when staying there!! If you want to use the fireplace you need to bring your own firewood or you can purchase some at the market up the road for a reasonable price.
We were lucky to have gotten snow and drove about 10 minutes to go sledding and also found a hiking trail that was a short walk from the cabin. We all decided that this was so much fun that we would make this an annual event and are looking forward to staying here again!!"
